Hello Readers!

The last few weeks have been spent working – a lot! I have had to crunch a full month into only 3 weeks as a result of our upcoming vacation. I have spent the last couple of days running errands and meeting with clients during the day and tying myself to my desk in the evenings. As a family, we have not done much together this summer. All the more reason I am so grateful for this vacation. I am actually writing this, only hours before we need to be at the airport! Yes, I work well under pressure!

This vacation will likely be the last family one for us as a family. It’s getting much too difficult to coordinate. Our 23 year old works full time and has minimal vacation time. Our youngest, 16 going into grade 11 and taking time off is a no-no, she also works part time. Dan and our son both work in the family landscape business, having them both away at once, can be tricky. I am amazed we even managed to pull this off! My intention is to breathe in every moment over the next 7 days and thank God that we have this time together. I do realize how precious it is.

Looking ahead into the coming months, we have a lot of exciting stuff happening professionally and we are excited to share with you when the time is right. Until then, I thank you for your continued support and I do hope you enjoy this Fall 2018 Issue of Family Matters Magazine. I am always looking for ways to improve the publication and to deliver what is of interest to you, the readers. Please follow us on Instagram and Facebook and let us know what you want to see more of, would like to see less of and everything in between. Your feedback is extremely valuable and I look forward to it.

God Bless,
